Ofcourse I hade to go and visit you homepage, and so I did. And I must say that your Clans homepage is very cool. Its very neat, well structured nice fonts, design, skin and graphics. But I miss some fancy finnish music! That would på the "hammer on the spike" ! (as we say here).

Anyway.. to the reason of my email. You mentioned that we someday should have the old Finland - Sweden game. And I say as clanleader that that would not only be nice but very nice and especially because we need to Uphold the Tradition! I'm not only a Swedish Royalist and Sweden Representer but ALSO a Scandinavia supporter and representer thereby also my Finnish Friends, You in this case! I dont know what you, your clanleader and your Clan represent but after my analyzing of you homepage I have made the conclusion that we have the same beliefs of Clan and our belonging to the Country!

This is why I want to forward my interrest in creating a friendship between us. I have long had the wish and thought of creating and being a proud member of the.... NORDIC ALLIANCE !

I believe the name speaks for itself and would therefore prefer a respons from You before I proceed any further.

Och samma till dig Loken! Eller är det Löken.. Oh man, I just can't speak Swedish anymore... Anyway, I, Kryo, am a sort of Clan Leader because I am the best (DUH!) player in our clan. Also, I am responsible of our clan's home page.

HEhheh, "naulan kantaan" yeah.. Our rookie Evilliad is a musician, and he has composed and translated some MIDI music. We will put FX on the pages, so hold on.

I am writing this off-line, and therefore I haven't visited your pages, but I take a glance as soon as I have written this letter.

Hmm.. Not so fast! Most of our members are quite insider-type (youknow) and will look suspiciously any other player than his fellow clansmen! (But there IS a sort of anti-officer movement going on... I wonder..)

IOW, our clan integrity, that is unity, is not so stable. =| We (our clan) have got to make some talking before doing any alliances/open hostilities.

Our ideology is very patriotic, and the inspiration to the Finnish Partisans-theme came from the Winterwar (Talvisota whatisit?) 1939-40. Remember from the history lessons? November 30.-39 the Ruskies invaded Suomi-Finland but _we_ kicked their asses badly!

Indeed, we (FP) should include a short ideology section on the pages..

Please, give us time to consider!!! But personally I think a NORDIC Alliance is a cool idea.

I have talked with my fellow clansmen, and we have a following decision:

As it might be apparent in our Members list we are a LAN-Clan. We are _not_ yet a Internet-capable clan. We _Need_ practice in the Net, with the most important thing dealing with Mr. High Ping. We haven't used to laggy games, so at the start we will be doing lots of practice. We would appreciate if there were some modem clans which would be willing to do some exercise with us.

We have played LAN-Quake A LOT. I mean, when we got the Ethernet cards at early June, we played the whole summer. We had sessions that were two weeks long. Two weeks, every night at least 10 hours, sometimes 16, until 6.00 am. Our sleeping rythm was ruined (very seriously, as it seems in my case :) The point is that we are quite good as individuals in deathmatch, but we are lousy teamplayers :[ (but training at the moment).

Therefore I suggest that we have to wait (still a week or two), that some of us get that modem they have talked about. Then, we begin to practice. Then, we may begin to clash with other clans. Then, we just might get some lesser clans whacked to small gibs >:#

My careful opinion of our skills as a clan: above average. The reasons: We are all mouseplayers. We are aware most of the special DM tricks and tactics. We have a lots of experience in multiplayer Quake. Some of us have gotten veerry skilled indeed as an overall-player (movement, shooting, tactics).

The best players of the FP are (My opinion, and the statistics) Makarov and Thunderlord (soon with the modems). I shan't add my name to the list because humility is the key to true Quakehood, says the great Llama.. Hehh. ;) See the stats at the War Room... Evilliad, Verger and Arse are becoming a serious threat, which is very promising. We have couple demos of our games, so, if you are interested, mail me. We are Very interested about Demos.. :) XCutor haven't played with us, but I think he is as good as me. He is a LPB ;(

The answer to the NORDIC ALLIANCE... Yes. We are interested in representing Scandinavia as a Finnish Clan. It is up to you, but once again, we have got to get used to the Net before we stand any chance. ("But, we eager to kick some Swedish butt!" says Arse... we'll see about that :)

I checked your Clan site, and it was quite cool, the music was great, and the outlook as well. Java and heavy GFX made your pages quite slow. I think, often a simplier look will have more professional touch than a glorious... I am not making any suggestions, just giving my opinion.The language.. English would be better option at the buttons, after all I (neither Arse or Verger) had no idea at some of the buttons until the page was loaded.

The Finnish Partisans is getting personalized all the time. We introduce our ideology soon and we will declare open hostilities. :) (happy face) War will be declared against all communist-related clans, and all those who were aggressors in WW2 towards Finland. Alliances are possible with those who were fighting beside us, including Sweden (!!!), Germany and perhaps GB.

Non-ideological clans are quite neutral, unless they make an offensive move (CHALLENGE!). We will NEVER challenge any neutral clans, but provocation and threatening can be used to get them angry and attack (So we defend ourselves!)

Var hälsad Finnish Partisans and let me welcome you to our nordic agreement. As Clan leader of the Swedish Royals I hereby accept the alliance proposal and declare "The Nordic Alliance" as official. Its not an alliance were one is the boss, its more like we are like..huh..an alliance, as long as we the Swedish Royals make all the important desicions.

In the beginning I would like you guys to make a cool banner for links and more ideological info and in the future we could construct a special clanpage for the Alliance.
